Facelift Procedure

During a traditional facelift surgery in Tampa, an incision is placed in the skin located at the front and back edges of the ears. Laser Facelift Procedure

Today’s facelift technology results in little-to-no downtime with less bruising, swelling, and recovery. Dr. Bassin is the pioneer of LazerLift®, Tampa’s laser facelift. LazerLift® uses laser technology to lift and tighten the mid-to-lower face without the use of stitches, scalpels, or scars. The laser facelift does not require general anesthesia and the procedure can be completed in as little as 30 minutes. The added benefits of the laser facelift come from the laser’s heat. Our Tampa doctor will place a 1-millimeter incision by the ear and chin. With only being 1 millimeter, the incision is typically smaller than the tip of a ballpoint pen. Local anesthesia is administered through the incision to ensure patient comfort. LazerLift® uses laser technology that will reshape facial contours. The heat of the laser produces collagen production and tissue coagulation, which leads to a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance.

MINI FACELIFT PROCEDURE

Mini facelift is an effective procedure for the mid and lower face. Mini facelift is a 1 to 2-hour procedure that does not require general anesthesia. Your Tampa plastic surgeon will create a discreet incision tracing the natural contour of the ear around the earlobe, and then carefully back to the hairline. The incision stops once the hairline is reached. The incision will be closed using dissolvable sutures once the surgery is complete. Patients can generally return to work within 3 to 7 days following their mini facelift surgery in Tampa. Bruising and swelling typically occur the following days after mini facelift but will eventually subside.
